Quirkus Circus presents Funk as Puck!
An immersive, promenade theatre style circus cabaret with a satirical, political edge.
Quirkus Circus provides highly skilled, quirky, surreal and imaginative entertainment featuring some of the North of England’s best performers.
Doors open at 8pm where you will find roaming circus performers to welcome you into the space.
Funk as Puck will feature an impressive seven circus and variety acts, with some surprises in between!
Audience members will be guided around the space to watch the performances in different locations.
(Seating will be provided for those who need it.)
Our Venue:
Raccoon Studios is a safe and inclusive DIY creative community arts venue in the centre of Sheffield on the corner of Haymarket and Exchange Street.
Following the cabaret there will be lively music with beats from around the world taking us into the night so stay and dance with us!

Our DJ’s will be straight after the show and play until 2am.
DisOrientalist- Beats from a borderless world.
Kom Kom- is a British-Khmer DJ based in Sheffield. She is a resident DJ for Rebel Soul at Shambala Festival and likes percussive bassy beats from all over.
A well known selector in the UK bass scene for tearing up dance floors at numerous festivals!

Drinks will be available in the main performance and dance space on the ground floor. There will be a chill out space upstairs with stalls selling recycled & alternative gifts, chai & cake.

Accessibility Info:
There are stairs without lift to the chill out room on the first floor.
The performance and dancing will take place on the ground floor accessible via a short ramp.
There is an accessible toilet with larger than average turning space.
There will be low lighting without strobes in both the performance and dance parts of the night.
